Treat your date (or BFF) to an evening on our alpaca farm! If you are looking for something different, this is it! You will learn all about alpacas, hug and squeeze them, take them for a walk, and end the eve around our bonfire. You will also have a snack & drink and create a fiber gift for your date. BYOB is welcome. Perfect!
This is a 2 ½ hour event held partially outside and partially in our semi-open alpaca barn. The Event space is heated for colder months. We start the evening by learning about the alpacas and their unique personalities and the many stories that go with them. You will meet the other animals on the farm too and give everyone a snack! Then you each get paired with an alpaca and taught how to lead him/her. An onsite trail walk will follow your lesson. Bring your camera; there are plenty of photo ops here! After our walk we will have drinks and snacks. We finish the evening with a fiber arts lesson. You will create a beautiful gift with alpaca fiber to give to your partner and your partner will LOVE it! Don’t worry, even the most artistically challenged people can handle this. Date night is rain or shine. Weather permitting, we will end the event with a bonfire and everyone is invited to stay for the flames.
Space is limited to only 16 people. Price $45 PER PERSON.
The small print: Refunds are only given if the minimum is not met. Tickets must be purchased in advance. This is a rain or shine event. You must wear close toed shoes and dress appropriately for the walk, no umbrellas. Alpacas don’t like umbrellas. Do not arrive more than 20 minutes before the event.
