🌟 Adventure Awaits at Graystone Ridge Alpacas! 🌟

Children and the curious, gentle alpaca are a natural fit. Graystone Ridge Alpacas offers a chance to get up close and personal with these beautiful animals. While at the farm, we will show each child how to care for and handle an alpaca. They will also get some experience with the other animals on the farm. Kids will have plenty of hands-on experience when they choose an alpaca to work with for the week and will experience the beauty of alpaca fiber while creating fiber projects to take home. The week is filled with fun, games, crafts, and alpaca snuggles! Don’t worry, we take lots of pictures! The camp is 3 hours a day, rain or shine. This camp is for ages 9-17. The camper must be 9 years old before the beginning of camp, no exceptions.

The small print: Sign up for Kids Camp is handled personally by me, not online. You need to email for availability and registration. Once registered, you will have 2 weeks to send a check by mail to secure the spot or it will be released. If this is a problem, please talk to me to make other arrangements. Alpaca Camp costs $190. If you are wondering if your child is a good fit for camp or if they have special needs, please email with questions or concerns before you sign up. Sneakers or boots are required. Our staff is vaccinated and has PA Child Abuse clearance.

Cancellation/Change Policy: We require that all reserved sessions are paid in advance. Any missed days by individual campers during the scheduled session are forfeited. Days missed due to extreme weather will not be refunded.

These camps fill quickly and you can be put on a waitlist if needed. For this reason, I will not refund unless a suitable camper is able to fill the spot. I will make every effort to make this happen but I can’t guarantee.

Customers that book their camper(s) week(s) before March 10, 2026 can cancel/change their bookings up to two weeks after their initial purchase without a fee. There will be a $25.00 Cancellation/Change fee per camper if changes are made after March 10th.

We’re excited to announce our Summer 2026 Advanced Alpaca Camps at Graystone Ridge! This year’s theme is Aliens / Alien Invasion, bringing creativity, imagination, and farm fun together for an unforgettable week.

🌿 Camp Details:

Three identical camp sessions available / Camp Fee: $190

Advanced Camp #1: July 13-17, 2026 9-12pm daily

Advanced Camp #2: July 27-31, 2026 9-12pm daily

Advanced Camp #3: Aug. 10-14, 2026 9-12pm daily

Ages: 9–17

Prerequisite: Campers must have completed Beginner Alpaca Camp prior to attending Advanced Camp

🧶 Camp Activities Include

Fiber crafts, including designing and creating a one-of-a-kind alien

Alien-themed games and activities throughout the week

Caring for and training their own alpaca

Daily alpaca walks and plenty of alpaca hugs
